Correlation analysis of building envelope thermal parameters and cooling load of building and atrium

Taking a large building with atrium in Guangzhou as model,studies the correlation between average envelope windowwall ratio, atrium skylight ratio, average index of thermal inertia, average coefficient of heat transfer and cooling load of building and atrium using orthogonal analysis method. The results show that the average coefficient of heat transfer is moderately correlated to building cooling load, but less correlated to atrium cooling load. Atrium skylight ratio is the main factor which affects the energy consumption of atrium.
